Concealed Handgun Permits  

The Clerk of the Montgomery County Circuit Court, Tiffany M. Couch, and her staff are required to follow strict state guidelines when performing the necessary background checks for Concealed Handgun Permits. Due to the nature of the detailed due diligence processing times can take multiple weeks. Once we have all of the required documentation, please allow up to 45 business days for processing.

Completed applications for RESIDENT permits shall be submitted to the circuit court of the county or city in which the applicant resides.  

Pricing

• A Renewal Concealed Handgun Permit costs $40.00 for Montgomery County RESIDENTS.

Applications will be processed between 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.
